Thanks for the comments.

And Ejna, just so you know...coworkers at my last employment never wanted to fly with me either. I was on three - 3 - flights for work-related trips where people were SCREAMING IN TERROR because of how hard the plane was bouncing in turbulence, etc.

When these coworkers compared stories they all discovered one element in common: I was on all three flights.

While this does nothing to confirm the terrorist theory thing, it DOES confirm a little more why I'm itchy about flying. Have you EVER been on a flight where people have screamed?

Three times, right here.

Wonderful story! Just be glad you hadn't realized during the flight that this passenger might have thought you were a terrorist. The hilarity that could have ensued from further explanations -- pure Seinfeld!

The conclusions one jumps to on limited data say a lot about the context of our lives. More subtle is that we choose those contexts. Spend time steeping in other cultures and you know what I mean.

Don't ever change Edmond.

But you might want to check in early at your next flight. You might have made it to a "list".

You left out the part where you trimmed the excess fuse sticking out of your Sketchers with a nail trimmer.
