Zombie-free world
I’m devouring this awesome book, World War Z by Max Brooks. It was on someone’s “Best Books of 2006″ list and hey, who can’t appreciate a little zombi-tastic lovin’?
And yet this novel has turned into much more than I thought it would be: the political remapping of every nation, the way this guy has planned out the details of survival strategies, the wide range psychological implications, the religious interpretation, new heroes, and how a world-wide virus would spread, our national security - it’s really a fascinating look at how the world could change overnight.
While I’m absolutely delighted by this fantastic, engrossing read, today I’m mostly just grateful the living dead aren’t eating my brains right now.
Thank you, zombie-free world.
